About the Client

Dover Air Force Base has Trane Tracer Summit Building Automation Systems controlling nearly all of its facilities. When the base decided to replace the antiquated air traffic control tower, Seiberlich Trane was contracted to install the Building Automation System, as well as other mechanical equipment.

The controls portion of the project consisted of utilizing the Building Automation System to integrate the VAV systems, 3 AHUs, chillers, and boilers supplied by Trane, as well as several Liebert units for the computer room equipment.

Other base projects have included the Armed Forces Port Mortuary, C-17 Flight Simulator, Joint Personnel Effects Depot, Outdoor Recreation Center, AFME, etc.
