Nanticoke Memorial Hospitalcase study

Seaford, DE

About the Client

Nanticoke Memorial Hospital is a nonprofit hospital with 120 beds located in Seaford, Delaware. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency care to residents of western Sussex County and is a certified Level III Trauma Center.

Nanticoke Memorial Hospital had a mix of Siemens and Trane controls throughout their campus. The hospital wanted a unified user interface to improve monitoring and alarming. Additionally, they wanted to monitor and analyze energy consumed by their HVAC system to improve performance.

Seiberlich Trane Energy Services unified the Siemens and Trane controls into one open Niagara front end. This integration laid the foundation for a long term strategic migration of unit level controls to open, BACnet controls. Seiberlich Trane also supplied energy analytics software to monitor energy consumption and set up secure remote access to the new BAS system for improved operator efficiency and service response time.
