Global targets to address climate change through reducing greenhouse gas emissions seem daunting. However, if we break down our share at the local level, these goals are achievable.
Within our community of Delaware and the surrounding areas of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland, Seiberlich Trane Energy Services wants to remove one million metric tons, or one megaton, of CO2 equivalent (CO2e) from the atmosphere. By helping our clients reduce energy consumption, source renewable energy, and utilize environmentally friendly refrigerants we can achieve this goal.
Seiberlich Trane Energy Services offers several solutions to help you reduce your greenhouse gas emissions and increase your utilization of renewable energy. We can even help you get rebates, grants, and financing to implement these enviornmentally friendly projects.
Upgrade old equipment to higher efficiency equipment, lower global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants, and electrified heating
Improve lighting levels and save energy with high performance LED fixtures and controls
Improve occupant comfort and indoor air quality while optimizing run hours
Lower utility spend while boosting sustainability with renewable, clean energy
When we launched this challenge in 2021, we recognized that achieving one megaton of CO2e reduction was an ambitious goal. Through continuous pursuit, and with the help of great partners, it's becoming clear that we not only will reach that milestone, but our momentum will carry us past it.
By the end of 2025, we already reduced CO2e consumption by an impressive 457,238 tons across 38 different projects - a testimony to our efforts that are making a real and measurable impact. With the experience and learning we've gained along the way, our goal of reaching that one megaton mark continues to become closer by the day.
Projects we've done to date include all types of customers with several different goals including:
As we continue making progress, we’re working closely with school districts, property owners, government agencies, and local businesses to not only improve their facilities, but fight inflating energy costs. We expect to reach our target of one megaton in the near future thanks to strong partnerships and the trust our customers place in us to help them meet their operational, financial, and environmental goals.
